Description
Designation: The Osler Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with their participation in the activity.
The Thoracic Surgery Review is a 3-day seminar with didactic lectures (with a searchable e-syllabus containing PDFs of all PowerPoint presentations), embedded questions on all topics, and two dedicated Q&A sessions. This comprehensive review will update your clinical knowledge base and help you pass your Thoracic Surgery exams. Emphasis is on evidence-based medicine and board-relevant standards of care, incorporating current best practice concepts, surgical approaches, and clinical follow-up strategies. As a result, this course provides a good review for your ABTS exams and a thorough review for physicians in practice. In addition, many of our previous participants found the system provided them with improved diagnostic and planning strategies and a better understanding of the best surgical approaches for the principal areas covered by Thoracic Surgeons. They helped them recognize areas of weakness for further study.
The webinar will be delivered using Zoom Cloud Meetings, allowing audio and visual interaction between you and the faculty. It would be best to have a computer with a good internet connection to participate in the webinar. You can watch and participate as much as you have time during the 3-day course and then use the recordings for further review and support practice improvement. With this online webinar course, you get the best of both worlds – the comfort and safety of your home or office and the chance to learn from the Osler Faculty and your peers. In addition, all participants receive complimentary streaming access to a recording of the course up through Dec. 13.
